Festive tea ceremony - the festival of teaThere are no other ways to inaugurate official founding of the Czech branch of Urasenke school than to serve tea. On April 1, the new tea room at Mustek experienced first guests. The ceremony was visited by a group of interesting people such as prof. Tomas Halik, the president of the Czech Christian academy, His Highness Hiroto Ishida - the Japanese ambassador - with his wife, and others. The next day, on 2 April, and also on Monday tea ceremonies were held for public. The following week was full of events more or less connected with tea. For example there was a lecture - The charm of Japanese ikebana - connected with an exhibition, then a lecture on tea, Tea scrolls - a lecture by prof. Nishikawa Sotoku etc.
